The PSO, in cooperation with Lifespan Corporate Services, has provided physicians with the ability to connect to the Lifespan Information Network from remote practice offices through the PSO wide area network (WAN) for the past five years. In keeping with our mission of providing for physician connectivity, PSO Information Services is pleased to announce DRConnect.

The PSO Information Services department in cooperation with a value added reseller, Computopia Inc, has created DRConnect in an effort to streamline the purchase and implementation of PCs by physicians, and is structured to easily facilitate all physician system access needs. This new, comprehensive offering provides the physician with a complete solution enabling fast and reliable Lifespan system access from office or home.

This new, comprehensive offering provides the physician with a complete solution enabling fast and reliable Lifespan system access from office or home. Computopia representatives will provide physicians with solutions and bundled pricing to meet their needs; this includes new system purchase, installation and configuration, system familiarity, and on-going support. The first step in this process is the identification and communication of hardware configurations required to run all Lifespan clinical system offerings from the physician locations required.
For those of you who are not currently connected to the Lifespan PSO WAN, DRConnect offers consulting services regarding hardware, software, connectivity methods and connectivity software. Pricing depends on connectivity methods and the infrastructure options required in your office. Additional pricing options, connectivity methods, and consulting services are available upon request.
